Dragon Boat Festival – although our culinary team is busy preparing classic zongzi during the festival weekend, consider visiting our Farm House to learn how to make your own, along with fresh soy milk. While the children are making mini dragon boats or visiting our baby goats, escape to Willow Stream Spa or visit the organic farm to explore what vegetables are in season.
Canada Day and US Independence Day - starting on June 30th enjoy a Canadian inspired dinner buffet followed by fireworks and DJ in Curve Bar. Not enough Canadian eh? Then join us Sunday July 01st for a Canadian inspired lunch buffet with and additional Western dishes! On Wednesday July 4th Essence will feature a four course Independence Day Celebration menu, complete with fireworks. The festivities will continue on Friday July 06 & Saturday July 07, with a Barbeque dinner buffet and more fireworks, followed by a DJ in Curve Bar on the Saturday night.
Bastille Day – on Saturday July 14th in celebration of the French National Day, Essence will be featuring a French inspired lunch and dinner buffet and specially designed petanque competition. Chinese Valentine’s Day – Thursday August 23rd is the evening to celebrate love on the shores of the famed Yangcheng Lake.
