Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is located in Agra City and is one of the most recognizable structures in India. Your India travel will be incomplete without having a glimpse of this magnificent work of art. This place is unbelieveably romantic and lovers from around the world visit here to experience the romance with their own eyes. The Taj Mahal is regarded as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan had it built in memory of his wife, Arjumand Banu Bagam, known as Mumtaz who died in 1631. It was constructed by about 20,000 workers from 1632 to 1648. The massive domed structure was constructed in the Indo-Islamic style, using white marble and inlaid gems. At each corner is a prayer tower, and passages from the outside walls. The bodies of the emperor and his wife remain in a vault below the building. During February, thousands of visitors come around for the food festival. In the span of 10 days, art displays can be observed while local and foreign visitors can savor the delicious food prepared by the locals.

The Golden Temple

Located in Amritsar, a city in the Punjab state of northwestern India, the Golden Temple serves as the most important house of worship for the Sikhs, a member of a religious group that broke away from Hinduism during the 16th century and advocated a monotheistic doctrine, incorporating some aspects of Islam. It is considered the most important pilgrimage destination of the Sikh followers.

Originally built in the late 16th century, the temple sustained repeated damage from attacks by Afghan invaders. During the early 19th-century reign of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the temple was rebuilt using marble, copper, and an overlay of gold foil. The temple sits on a small island and connects with the land on the west by way of a marble causeway.

The design features a large central dome and intricately carved marble ornamentation. No words will ever give justice to the beauty of the Golden Temple. The experience, during your India travel, of seeing this work of art in person is unbelievable.

Char Minar

In the center of the old-town section of Hyderabad City in south central India, two main city streets intersect beneath a large rectangular structure with four open arches to accommodate street traffic. Named for the four minarets that top the building, Char Minar was designed to be the centerpiece from which the entire city would extend. It was conceived by Muhammad Quli, the fifth of the Qutb Shahis, in the 1590s and is considered the supreme architectural achievement of the Qutb Shahi period.

India travel and a trip to Char minar will bring you closer to the beautiful culture of Hyderabad City and to the lives of Hyderabadi people. The Mecca mosque at Char Minar seems to be brimming with people each trying to get a place atop the monument where there are 45 prayer spaces. Get on to the first floor that has beautiful balconies and enjoy a panoramic view of the Pearl City from here. Nothing seems to be more attractive than the outside of the building where a thriving ancient market is still held.

Ranthambore National Park

Indulge yourself with amazing scenery at the Ranthambore National Park. Enjoy the wild and be astonished by the site of the tigers, elephants, deer, and even the forest. Seal your experience with more than 3 hours of jungle jeep safari spotting tigers. Hire a jeep or climb on the back of an elephant to enjoy a jungle safari that will help you encounter the two rivers of Chambal and Banas, your access to birding in this sanctuary. Weaver birds and woodpeckers along with other species can be found in this sanctuary.

Ranthambore is one of the most respected and cherished national parks in the country and one must surely visit to enjoy the flora and fauna that are peerless. Hire a jeep or take a short walk, but enjoy the plethora of this jungle country that will give you a larger than life experience. Enjoy your jungle expedition and watch the wildlife while listening to the music that the silence of the woods plays on you.
