SkyTeam's round the world flights planner more user-friendly, more features, more choices
SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, has upgraded its online Round the World Planner to offer a number of new features designed to make booking a SkyTeam round the world itinerary even easier.
Customers planning their worldwide trips now benefit from enhancements including:
Request a Quote – Clicking on this icon sends a customer’s itinerary to a dedicated reservations team at their preferred SkyTeam airline for a quote and the option to book.
SkyTeam is the first airline alliance to offer this feature as part of an online Round the World planning tool.
Facebook icon – Posts a customer’s itinerary to their Facebook wall, helping them to connect with friends and colleagues worldwide by sharing the details of their trip.
“SkyTeam is investing in technology to enhance customers’ digital experience and the Round the World Planner’s latest features have been developed using customer feedback,” said Mauro Oretti, SkyTeam’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
“With 15 members - and three more joining this year – the new enhancements will help maximize the potential of every trip, as well as making it easier to book Round the World travel online.”
Since it was launched last September, more than 47,000 customers have used SkyTeam’s Round the World Flights Planner tool to create their itineraries online.
A customized trade version of the Round the World Planner can be accessed at SkyTeam.biz, a dedicated website for travel professionals.
